MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE CANCELLED PLANS TO EXTAND THE OLD TRAFFORD STADIUM.
Manchester United had big plans to extend their stadium's sitting capacity from todays sitting capacity of 72,000, seventy two thousand.
They had decided to extend the section of the famous stadium, OLD TRAFFORD, also called the theatre of dreams, and the portion chosen to be extended was called THE SIR BOBBY CHARLTON STAND.
But sadly Manchester United had to shelve this big project recently.
The reason for the change in plan was that there are railway tracks running near to the section called THE SIR BOBBY CHARLTON Stand, and now there can be extension of this famous stadium from that particular side for now, a alternative spot will have to be now chosen.
