ANDRES HERRERA COULD FACE JAIL AND SIX YEAR BAN FOR MATCH FIXING.

The Spaniard Andres Herrera who is now playing his club football in England, with Manchester United.. And now he has been accused of match fixing in Spain, with his old club Zaragoza . it appears in the match played between Levante and Zaragoza played on 5/5/2011, in which Zaragoza won by a score of 2-1. But it appears money were paid to a lot of players in fact Andres Herrera is not the only person accused there re a total of 35 persons accused and on trial in Spain, it is reported that Zaragoza players received money in envelopes and so Levente through the match, so Zaragoza were not relegated. the money was paid by cheques and not by cash, and it was deposited in the accounts, the money was large amount like Andres Herrera got 44,000 forty four thousand and 35,000 thirty five thousand pounds. The court says that the players thirty five of them have not given truthful evidence and there is lot of contradictions a well. But if he along with the thirty five players could get two years in jail as well as a six year world ban from football. Please note even if found guilty they will not go to jail it will be a suspended term, as no murder or serious crime has been committed.
