THE STANDARD OF ENGLLISH REFEREEING IS SO BAD NO WONDER NOT A SINGLE ONE IS CHOSEN FOR THE WORLD CUP.
Through out the year the standard of refereeing by the so called English refereeing is nothing but disgusting, and so very poor offside goals are given, legal goals are not given, and the extra time is not given properly either.
In the match between Arsenal and Manchester City , the fourth referee added three minutes, which the Adrenal manager Arsene Wenger rightly questioned, but the shameless referee then taunted Arsene Wenger by telling Arsene Wenger why do you want extra time will it help in the final result.
Now let us see if the three minutes given was correct or not?
According to the rules set by F.I.F.A and U.E.F.A state that every time a substitute enters the pitch 15, fifteen seconds should have been added, and there were five substitutes in the second half, and for every yellow or red card another 15,fifteen seconds should be added, and a there is also a number of seconds to be added for every goal scored in the match or goal celebration and there were two goals scored in the second half. And add injury time as well.
No wonder not a single English referee is selected for the 2018 world cup in Russia, it s big shame for the English F.A.
The former referee Mark Hawksley who was forced to retire due to throat cancer, but did make a complete recovery hs this to say on the English F.A.
The English F.A have told the referees not to see things day do ee, in other words favour the big rich clubs like Manchester United , Chelsea and Liverpool, with giving penalties and so on.
And no wonder England do badly at the world cups.
And do not forget that the English referee Graham Poll showed a Croatian footballer three yellow cards and then showed him his red card as well, but he resigned as a F.I.F.A referee on that day only.
And here time must be added for injuries to players , when they are treated or carried out on stretchers.
