EUDIR GUOJOHNSEN REPLACED HIS FATHER FOR A GAME FOR ICELAND.

It is very rare that you will see the son replacing the father in a international match. The year was 1996, and the match was being played between Iceland verses Estonia. Mid way through the match Eudir Goujohnsen replaced his father. Now this was the first and last time the father and son played for Iceland. A little later Eudir Guojohnsen broke his leg in a match with Republic Of Ireland. And then by the time the leg healed the father had retired from football altogether , so sadly father and son could not play together for Iceland again.
