Jose Mourinho has now given a warning to the Manchester United board that they must be ready to spend big in the coming summer transfer window. But the board are not that very keen to spend the way Jose Mourinho wants to spend. In the last two years both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have spent roughly four hundred million pounds on buying players, and they still want to spend more just to win a silverware . Manchester United have spent in four years a sum of 450, four hundred and fifty million pounds, and at the same time the Dutch giants Ajax have spent 450, four hundred and fifty million pounds from the year 1945, after the end of world war two. But what must ne noticed here is Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Raheem sterling, Fernandinho, and Nickolas Otamendi were already at Manchester City before Pep Guardiola joined Manchester City as the manager. And Jose Mourinho warns by saying if Manchester City do spend big in the summer transfer window, then it will be very difficult to catch them next year as well.
