JAPAN BEME FIRST ASIAN COUNTRY TO DEFEAT A SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRY.
During the 2018 world cup in Russia , there were two new records set at the world cup match.
The match was played between Japan and Colombia, it was supposed to be a tough match for Japan.
But Japan won the match 2-1.
The first record was that Japan became the first Asian country ever to defeat a South American country at a major tournament , it took Japan 17, seventeen attempts to finally win a match against a South American country.
Th second record set in the world cup match played between Japan and Colombia was that the Colombian defender Carlos Sanchez becomes the second fastest footballer to get a red card, he got his red card in 2.58 seconds .
The fastest red card is held by the Argentinean Jose Batista who got the fastest red card at a world cup ,he got it in 56,fifty six seconds after sliding into Gordan Strachan in the 1986 world cup in Mexico.
