WHY WAS CARLOS SANCHEZ SHOWN A RED CARD , WHILE SAMUEL UMTITI WAS NOT GIVEN A RED CARD.

In the match played between Columbia and Japan, the Colombian defender was shown the second fastest red card in the world cup history, it came in the third minute . The red card was shown as he Carlos stanches stretched out his hand and prevented the ball from going into the net. In a handball decision we must first see where the hand is going and not where the ball is going , as you see nobody can run fast with their hands always down. So Carlos Sanchez was given a straight red card and also gave a penalty as well as it happened in the box. But Samuel umtiti was not shown straight red card as the ball was going out and would not have gone in the net.
