Both Manchester City as well as Barcelona ere keen to buy the midfielder Thiago Alcantarra from Bayern Munich. Actually Thiago is a graduate from the Barcelona youth academy called THE LA MASSIA, and played for Barcelona under Pep Guardiola, but there was a mix up in his contract and it was not renewed in time . Then Pep Guardiola who was the manager of Bayern Munich brought him on a free transfer. But so far Thiago has played only 20, twenty games in two years, which is far to little. Now Barcelona want to replace Paulinho who was sold to a club in China, and at the same time Manchester City want to buy Thiago , as they had missed out on buying Jorginho.
