GARY SPEED SUFFERED FROM DEPRESSION SINCE HE WAS SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD..

The former Welsh coach Gary Speed, who played for Leeds United, Newcastle united as well as Sheffield Wednesday He was a very popular person on both on and of the pitch as well, and quite a good footballer as well. But he committed suicide by hanging himself in the garage. He had sent a letter to his wife Louise , stating that he was suffering from depression from the early age of 17, seventeen years as a teenager. The letter says that he was suffering from this mental disorder for many years and sadly he suffered silently all alone. Now reports suggest that he was abused by Mr Benelli a youth academy coach, leading to his depression.
