THIS IS THE OLDEST FOOTBALL CLUB IN HISTORY.

The English club Sheffield F.C. according to the record books was started in the year 1857 by two cricketers actually, who played for the cricket club Sheffield. The two cricketers to start the club were Sir Nathaniel Cheswick and William Prest. These two made the first real rules for football like heading, a wooden goal bar , corners. In the beginning they played games this way Married verses the Singles and so on. And as Sheffield was started in the year 1857 it is the oldest standing club playing football still. It has fans like Brazilian Pele. And Sheffield were awarded the trophy in the year 2004 from F.I.F.A. THE AWARD O MERRIT. Please kindly note F.I.F.A have given this ward to two clubs in their history Real Madrid and Sheffield F.C. So this club is 161 one hundred and sixty one years old.
