GARY NEVILLE TELLS US A SECRET ABOUT PAUL SCHOLES..

Both Paul Scholes and Gary Neville, along with Nicky Butt, Philip Neville, Ryan Giggs and David Bickham all graduated from the Manchester United's youth Academy in 1992. They were the best youth team to start for Manchester United after graduating. In fact Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Philip Neville, Nicky Butt travelled by bus for their daily training at the youth academy, and they would change the bus three times to reach it and change another three buses to reach home. No Mercedes Bens cars for them like todays footballers. No wonder they were far better footballers. Gary Neville says of Paul Scholes that he was small in size, lacked pace, had stamina did not have strength and worst of all suffered from asthmatic attacks frequently . The other boys had a great deal of doubt whether Paul Scholes could really make it in the end. Then one year he decided to stop eating all pies and drinking any beer, things changed for the better after that, he improved health and stamina came back. So good was Paul Scholes that Sir Alex Ferguson always put Paul Scholes name first on the list, as the years passed and Paul Scholes was nearing retiring age, Sir Alex Ferguson said (I have looked far and wide to find a footballer just as good as Paul Scholes, and the only midfielder that came close to Ginger boy Paul Scholes was Wesley Sneijder. Paul Scholes won 25 trophies at Manchester United including two Champion League cups as well. In fact as Sir Alex Ferguson could not find another footballer to replace Paul Scholes, he personally went to Paul Scholes house , to convince him to come out of retirement and ply for Manchester United ,and Paul Scholes retired for the second time in 2013.
