ARSENAL MAKE CONTACT WITH MARC OVERMARS AS THE SPORTING DIRECTOR JOB.

Now that the Arsenal main scout Sven Mislantat has now decided to leave Arsenal after just a year at the English club, it is said that he will be moving to take the job at the German giants Bayern Munich. Arsenal had contacted their former Brazilian player Edu for this job, but he had rejected it saying he was happy with the job with Brazilian national team. Arsenal are now looking at one of their former footballers who served the club well he is the Dutch footballer Marc Overmars, who had played for Inter Milan, Ajax , Arsenal and Barcelona as well. He was the costliest Dutch footballer as he was sold to Barcelona, for a fee of 25, twenty five million pounds. But unlike Edu, Marc Overmars is keen to return to Arsenal .
