LUKA MODRIC SHOULD NOT HAVE WON THE BALLOON DÓR IN THE YEAR 2017/2018.

Earlier on there used to be two trophies given to the best footballer in the world, and they were called THE EUROPEAN FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR , and the other was called F.i.F.A FOOTBALLER OF THE WORLD, this was first given in the year 1990,to Lothar Matthaeus , of West Germany for wining the world cup. There has only been one footballer from Africa to win this title and he is George Weah, of Liberia today he is president of Liberia. But when the voters voted for the Balloon 'D'Or to be awarded to the Croatian footballer, Luka Modric this was absolutely unjust, unfair and very disgusting. And honestly these voters must have their brains examined by a Psychiatrist I must say. What did he do win that trophy ? After all the best footballer in the world will have to score a lot of goals in that particular year to be nominated even. Luka Modric the Croatian footballer in the year2017,/ 2018 played a total of 26 twenty six games in the Spanish La Liga and scored only one goal. He had won only one trophy that year the Champion League. While in 2018/2019 he played 20 games so far and scored just two goals.. For Croatia Luka Modric has played a total of 118 one hundred and eighteen games and has scored just 14, fourteen goals. Now let us see the footballer who came fifth in the table for the Balloon d'Or. LIONEL MESSI. Lionel Messi playing for Barcelona for the year 2017/2018 played a total of 36, thirty six games in THE LA LIGA, and he scored a total of 34 , thirty four goals. Lionel Messi won two major trophies in 2017/2018 the Spanish La Liga and the Copa del Rey.. It is crystal clear the voters had taken leave f their senses here, lost their marbles. Now F.I.F.A will apologise to Lionel Messi for not awarding the Balloon d 'Or, like F.I.F.A apologised to Andres Iniesta, for not giving the Spaniard the trophy. But what was done here it was awarded to footballers according World cup 2018 in Russia so then give this award every four years at after wold cups.
