THERE ARE NEW CHAMPION LEAGUE RULES FROM THIS YEAR.
As the champion league now enters the group of sixteen clubs, and now U.E.F.A have changed the rules to benefit the clubs now.
Previously the rules of U.E.F.A did not allow footballers who signed up for a new club to play in the champion league, as they had already played for a club in that champion league season. They were all called Club Tied .
A example is of the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho who had joined up from Liverpool to Barcelona in that years January transfer window, but as he had played for Liverpool that season he could not play for Barcelona.
But now thankfully that rule is amended.
