Arsenal were keen o sign the uncapped Brazilian Malcolm from the Spanish giants Barcelona, on a loan deal only on the last day of the January transfer window, but this loan deal collapsed completely. And the real reason was that Barcelona have big plans for Malcolm in the future of the club, but right now he is not getting any starting time to play at Barcelona. And the real reason the deal collapsed was that Barcelona asked Arsenal to pay a very high loan fee and Arsenal were not keen to pay that a huge sum as a loan fee.
