Now in the year 2013 Franck Ribery was in the final short list of three footballers, for the Balloon' d Or. But very sadly it did not go to him as he and many football fans expected then. In fact the trophy was by Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi came second and Frnck ribery came third. But Franck Ribery was greatly hurt by the decision to award that trophy to Cristiano Ronaldo. And this is why he was upset and says he is still hurt and disgusted with the result. Cristiano Ronaldo might have scored goals that year in 2013, but in truth Cristiano Ronaldo failed to pick a single trophy that year. While in that year Franck Ribery won a few trophies. 1) Bundesliga Cup. 2) Champion League Cup. 3)F.I.F.A Club World winner. 4). U.E.F.A super Cup. 5) He played 46. Games in 2013. 6) He scored 18 goals. 7) He had 20 assists as well. No wonder he was so upset.
