ANTOINE GREIZMANN SIGNS FOR BARCELONA FROM ATLTICO MADRID.., BUT ATLETICO MADRID SAY THE DEAL IS INVALID.

According to THE METRO, The French world cup winner Antoine Griezmann, has now gone and signed a long term contract with the Spanish giants Barcelona, the deal is now for a period of five years, till the year 2024. Barcelona waited and showed great deal of patience in the deal . Now last year Antoine decided to join Barcelona, instead he had a change of heart and decided to help his club Atletico Madrid, as they were serving a F.I.F.A ban along with Real Madrid, for a year from buying any new players. He then signed a new contract with Atletico Madrid, which had two buy out clauses , the first buy out clause was for 178, one hundred and seventy eight million pounds. But then the buy out clause would drastically fall from 1/7.2019, it would then be only 107, one hundred and seven million pounds. But Atletico Madrid do not agree with this sale to Barcelona they say it is invalid deal, their reason being , is that Barcelona and Antoine Griezmann, had come to an oral agreement before the date of 1/7/2019. So Atletico Madrid want Barcelona to pay the entire buy out clause of 178, one hundred and seventy eight million pounds. Atletico Madrid are ready to o to court and settle the deal if need be even. But Atletico Madrid , must remember that that was an oral agreement nothing signed then, but deal was signed on 12/7/2018, now the agreement signed and stamped will bear more weight in court then anything said orally.
