SWEDEN DEFEAT ENGLAND FOR THE THIRD PLACE AT THE LADIES WORLD CUP 2019..

At the ladies world cup held in France. In the match between Sweden and England , for the third place and also for the bronze medal. It was a match that did start slowly, but it gradually picked up pace and it really became exciting to watch, from a neutral point of view. Sweden scored two goals and England scored a single goal, which was not enough to win the medal. But a long awaited equalising goal was disallowed after V.A.R came into the picture, and the goal scored by Ellen White was not given as it touched the hand , and was clearly a handball here. The match ended with a score line of 2-1 in favour of Sweden.
