WHY DO BARCELONA AND A.C.MILAN HAVE A GEORGE CROSS ON TEIR BADGE..

1) Over the years Barcelona and A.C.Milan have been very proud clubs , and have produced great footballers from around the world II must say, and they have never ever failed to entertain their many loyal fans. But it will come as a very big surprise to know that both these clubs who are giants in their own right, were in fact founded by the English men living in Barcelona and Milan. The date A.C.Milan started was 13/12/1899. And it was started by two English Men Herbert Kilpn and Alfred Edwards.. And as they were English men they put the George Cross on the badge of the Jersey of the club A.C.Milan. In the beginning it was called a football as well as a cricket club. But now it is football club only. In the year 1907 A.C.Milan experienced a split up , and they became a separate club called Inter Milan. That is why Inter Milan and A.C Milan. Play in the same stadium THE SAN SIRO. In the history of Italian football every club in Italy have been demoted , either for coming at the bottom at the season's end or getting demoted for some scandal or the other. Only Inter Milan have never ever been demoted. 2) While in Sunny Spain Barcelona are a very famous club which has had famous footballers playing for them. Barcelona was started by a English man Joan Camper in the year 29/11/1899. It was this gentlemen who chose the famous striped jersey worn by Barcelona over the years. Barcelona then had the George cross put on the jersey of the badge of Barcelona.
