LIONEL MESSI AND CRISTIANO RONALDO HAVE GIVEN US FIFTEEN YEARS OF REAL RIVALRY TO ENJOY.
Booth of these super football stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have gone and thrilled the football world over a period of 15, fifteen years, we will have to remember one ting very clearly here in football, footballers have a very short life in the game, hey usually retire at the age of 35, thirty five years. And these two have really kept themselves fit for all these years.
Usually according to football records a player usually score a total of 30, thirty goals in a season once in their lifetime, or at the most twice in their life time both Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer have gone and scored thirty goals twice in their careers.
But both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo score 50 goals each year, and once in 2012 Lionel Messi scored 91, ninety one goals in a single season with Barcelona.
Lionel Messi started his career at Barcelona at the age of 17 seventeen years and Cristiano Ronaldo started his career at Sporting Lisbon t 17, seventeen years.
Both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo had major health issues in their lives.
1) Cristiano Ronaldo suffered from a heart problem and nearly ended his football career, at fifteen years he suffered from a racing heart, when the heart beats very, very fast and it would sound like a horse galloping.
2) Lionel Messi suffered from Hormone bone deficiency, where the bones were week and did not grow properly, and Barcelona were the only club in the world to be willing to sign him up and also pay for his medical treatment
When the Barcelona scout went to look at Lionel Messi in Argentina ,Lionel Messi at 13 years had the height of a five year old.
So looking at this we are a very lucky generation to watch two super ICONS play week in and week out. We must remember that they ae human, and will not play eternally for us so let us enjoy them. And both have got the best of out of each other for fifteen long years.
Usually these living legends come one at a time like Pele, Johan Cruyff, Sir Bobby Charlton, Diego Maradona, Roberto Baggio and so on.
