LIVERPOOL WILL NOT BE EXPELLED FROM THE CARABAO CUP.
It has been decided by the English F.A that Liverpool would not be expelled from the Carabao Cup, but instead they would be fined a sum of two hundred thousand pounds.
The problem over here is that Liverpool allowed a ineligible player to play for Liverpool in the Carabao cup against M.K Dons. The Spaniard player Pedro Chervil, was sent out on a loan to play abroad, but Liverpool failed to get a international transfer certificate , that would have then made him eligible to play for Liverpool legally.
But now it is found out that he played in two English Premier League games as well ,and also for another trophy as well.
But just fining Liverpool ad not kicking them out of the Carabao cup is not at all fair I must say.
Just ask Real Madrid what happened to them in the Copa Del Rey cup.
Here Real Madrid then under Rafael Benitez allowed Dennis Cherishev to play in the Copa Del Rey cup even though he had been shown a straight red card in the previous game. But he had the international transfer certificate, so this was much minor offence compared to Liverpool breaking the rules.
It looks very clear here Liverpool are favoured just because they re on top in England and ae champion league winners.
The English F.A. should have some shame here.
