DEDRYCK BOYATA PLAYED A ENTIRE FIRST HALF WITH THE WRONG JERSEY NUMBER.

The Belgian footballer Dedryck Boyata played a entire first half in he Euro 2020 qualifying match played between Russia and Belgium, wearing the wrong jersey number. The number and name on the jersey was wrong but the shorts had the correct number 4,four, he was wearing jersey number 23, twenty three and that jersey clearly had the wrong name on it . The name on the yellow jersey was of fellow Belgian footballer Michi Batshuayi. Now the funny thing is all team members and staff failed to see it before half time when he changed the jersey to number 4, four again his own jersey. Neither did the referees or the two linesn see the big mistake. Now F.I.F.A made this rule in the year 1988 before the 1988 EURO CUP. all players will have to have both their name and number printed on the back of their jerseys, till that year footballers only had numbers on the ack of their jersey.
