MANCHESTER UNITED TO GET OVER A MILLION POUNDS FOR THE BUYING OF CRISTIANO RONALDO.
Now Manchester United are going to get a real windfall here, as the Spanish giants Real Madrid had sold Cristiano Ronaldo to the Italian giants Juventus in 2018 for a huge sum of a 100 a hundred million Euros or 88 eighty eight million pounds.
Now Manchester United will be getting a huge payment from the Italian giants Juventus, the amount which is calculated stands at 1.2 one point two million Euros , or 865,000 or eight hundred and sixty five thousand pounds..
But why is Juventus paying Manchester United this money?
Now according to F.I.F.A rules this is called solidarity payment, and came into force in the year 2001, and all clubs will have to follow this rule.
This is why Manchester United got he money , when Manchester United sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid in the year 2009 , for a then world record fee of 80, eighty million pounds.
Now when Real Madrid sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus for a sum of 100, one hundred million Euros, then the Solidarity payment came into place, so a certain percentage of money from the total of the sale amount will have to be given to Manchester United .
Now we may see this money is peanuts for Manchester United, but when small clubs benefit this way with the money.
When Liverpool sold Raheem Sterling to Manchester City, then Liverpool had to pay eight million pounds to the Club Queen Park Rangers.
But this F.I.F.A rule only applies for youngsters between the ages 12 twelve to 21, twenty one only.
