HARRY GREGG THE FORMER NORTHERN IRELAND AND MANCHESTER UNITED GOALKEEPER DIES AT 87 YEARS OF AGE.

Harry Gregg the former Northern Ireland and Manchester United goalkeeper has died in hospital at the ripe old age of 87, eighty seven years, in hospital peacefully. He was a hero for Manchester United as he went about bravely helping team mates who suffered in the Munich air crash in the year 1957, when Manchester United had flown to Germany to play Bayern Munch in that years champion league. Manchester United had bought him for a sum of 250,0000 two hundred and fifty thousand pounds. He also played for Northern Ireland in the 1958 , world cup which was held in Sweden. And Brazil won their first world cup then and football world was introduced to a young seventeen year old Pele that year. Harry Gregg also won the ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE , the O.B.E.
