LIVERPOOL GOT EMILE HESKEY AND ARSENAL GOT THIERRY HENRY FOR ELEVEN MILLION POUNDS EACH.

In the 1990s Liverpool spent a small sum of 11, eleven million pounds on a striker called Emile Heskey. And at that time Arsenal got Thierry Henry from Juventus for a small sum of 11, eleven million pounds. But those who follow football closely will know Thierry Henry was far better by miles I would say. The Arsenal manager Arsene wenger, who was the former manager of the French club Monaco, new Thierry Henry very well, as Thierry Henry started is career at Monaco. Thierry Henry was sold to the Italian giants Juventus, but he had a terrible time at Juventus ,as he was always on the bench and not starting games in Italy. But Arsene Wenger brought him for 11, eleven million pounds, peanuts I would say. Thierry Henry was bought to replace Ian wright who was aging. Arsene Wenger changed Thierry Henry from a fast winger to a fast striker, and the rest s history. He is Arsenal's top goal scorer with 176 goals. But this is what Thierry Henry said to Ian Wright, ( I m afraid I will be a failure at Arsenal, as I may not score enough goals) But Ian wright calmed him and said just enjoy yourself on the pitch ,and let your legs do the talking here. And oh my he really did let those fat legs do all the talking. Emile Heskey even after having Michael Owen as a strike partner, he did not flourish at Liverpool.
