And during that time he got offers to be the manager of Real Madrid twice, the French and England's national team as well, so he had to politely reject all the offers The only way Arsenal could pay back the money was to sell heir players. And he , Arsene Wenger sold the players for a very good price he got nothing less then twenty million pounds for each player Robin Van Persie was sold at 24, million pounds as , he was 30, thirty years old 25, twenty five million for Emmanuel Adebayoir, 27 twenty seven million for Samir Nasri Later Highbury land was turned to apartments and sod as well, more money came for Arsenal. And Arsenal cleared their debt that way for the stadium.
