WHY BARCELONA REJECTED THE CHANCE TO BUY CRISTIANO RONALDO..

Back in the year 2008 the Spanish giants Real Madrid were very keen to buy the young Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, and sir Alex Ferguson was not at all happy over the whole thing, He then went and told Real Madrid ( That he will not be selling Real Madrid a virus , leave alone his very best player at Manchester United.) Sir Alex Ferguson then spoke with the Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola, and Alex Ferguson was very desperate not to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid. But Barcelona rejected the offer made by Sir Alex Ferguson. But why did Barcelona reject the Cristiano Ronaldo offer? Barcelona already had players like Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o , Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi, so it was very clear one or two payers would be spending more time on the bench ten playing.
