WHY DID MANCHESTER UNITED WANT TO BUY ANSU FATI?

 Why did Manchester United want to buy the young 17,seventeen year old  Barcelona winger  Ansu  FatiFati.
 Manchester United  were always eyeing to buy the young English winger Jadon Sancho, from the German club Borussia Dortmund, yes he was not going to come cheap in any sense, the German club were asking well over a hundred million pounds.
 But at the same  time Ansu Fati was a far cheaper option for Manchester United , they had gone and offered Barcelona a hundred million Euros,  which is 89, eighty nine  million pounds.
 But the president of Barcelona  made it very clear to the agent Jorge Mendes, that Ansu Fati is not for sale  and he will not be sold by Barcelona for another 15, fifteen years at least.
 And he would slowly but surely take the lead role from Lionel Messi.
 But why did Manchester United   decide to make a offer  for Ansu Fati in the first place?
 Jorge Mendes   thought that with both Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembale, both returning from surgery, and long time absence , and with possibility  of Barcelona buying Latuaro Martinez, and with Lionel Messi there, he thought Ansu Fati would be surplus at Barcelona.
