The former Portugal, Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United player Luis Nani, who had gone and followed the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo,who had joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon. He is now playing his football in the U.S.A in the Major League Soccer, in Orlando. But Luis Nani has lifted the lid on his difficult childhood while growing up in Lisbon. His mother was a single parent and Luis Nani had a total of eight siblings. His mother moved in with her partner to a small shack in the slum area of Lisbon. Food was always very, very scarce and he often had to go hungry after missing food . Rats lizards and cockroaches were everwhere It is very clear a moving story from rags to riches story I must say. Coming from a Lisbon slum to the worlds largest club , . so let us give credit where credit is due.
