Lionel Messi has said he does want a new challenge,and wants no move out from his boyhood club Barcelona, which he joined at 13 thirteen ears in the year 2000.
Now he was planning to move to Manchester City, after all it was his early years at Barcelona he played under Pep Guardiola for three years and won a lot of trophies
Please note tat these talks were going on for some time now,it was well before the humiliation faced by Barcelona in the 2019/2020 champion league loss to Bayern Munich with a horrible score of 8-2.
But I very much doubt if Manchester City can afford his buy out clause of 700,seven hundred million Euros or 631,six hundred and thirty one million pounds.. Mind you his yeatrly salary is 90,,ninety million pounds, with all the add ons.
