The president of the Spanish giants Barcelona Mr Josip Maria Bartomeou and his entire board have now gone and resigned.
Unfortunately he was the president but not a very popular president at Barcelona, and he had many enemies at the club and among the many Barcelona fans. Even Lionel Messi did not see eyeball to eyeball here, this even made Lionel Messi ask for a summer transfer.
he recently was standing stubbornly saying that there was no need to resign.
But there was going to be voting on 1/11/2020 and 2/11/2020, ona vote of no confidence, and to win he needed tpo get 15,000 fifteen thousand votes, something he new he would never ever get, and he made it clear he did not want to be the first president of Barcelona to be booted out of office.
Though he won a few trophies in the year 2014, the spending of the Neymar money on some players turned flops was his downfall. And to make matters worse the Spanish police had filed a corruption charge against him s well.
