These two countries Portugal and Spain have now decided to give their names as candidates for countries willing to hold a world cup , in the year 2030.
Both the two football federations of Portugal and Spain had a meeting and decided to bid for the 2030 world cup..
Spain had held the world cup back in the year 1982, and Italy won that world cup..
Portugal on the other hand have never hosted a world cup in their history.
