The famous Argentinean footballer Diego Maradona who was a rare breed of a footballer from street urchin living in a slum near Buenos Aires to play for Boca Juniors, Barcelona and Napoli. He also won the world cup in Mexico with Argentina. in the year 1986.
But he was a wizard on the pitch and he was spo good built short and stocky could use both of his feet ,dribbled and danced his way through entire teams to score some memorial goals.
He was a player like Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho who all three had sacks of tricks ,and some said that even these three footballers were so good no one knew what they would do, even they may not have known what they were going to do.. Maradona joined Barcelona for aa short time but never did anything special.
But after the 1986 world cup he joined the Italian club Napoli in Naples. Now Napoli was a very small club with not winning any trophies in their history. But all changed after Diego Maradona came to Napoli., the club did not have any football stars with them, so Maradona had to single handedly won the Scudetto twice in 1987 and 1989, Napoli also won the U.E..F.A cup in 1991.
But along came the night life and his cocaine problem came with getting a eight month ban as well..
He also took Argentina to the 1990 world cup final against West Germany.
