Back in the early 1990s Juventus owner Giovanni Agnelli, the then owner of the Italian club Juventus and at the same time the owner of the Italian car company F.I.A.T, was very much interested to sign up the Romanian lay maker Georghe Hagi, but there were big problems facing Juventus.
As Romania was part of the communist block with a dictator n power, talks would not be easy.
During the talks the Romanian wanted Juventus to provide a house as well as a car or Georghe Hagi
The dictator also wanted Mr Giovanni Agnelli to start a F.I.A.T car company in Romania., And Giovanni Agnelli agreed to do it.
But in the end the talks for the deal collapsed and Georghe Hagi joined Barcelona instead.
