BARCELONA WILL APPEAL THE RED CARD SHOWN TO LIONEL MESSI.

 Barcelona said that they will appeal to the Spanish football Federation concerning the red card which was shown by the referee to Lionel Messi.

 Firstly the referee and he two linesmen failed to see the incident, and they at V.A.R phoned him to consult V.A.R Which he did , and he was first showing the red card to the Barcelona left back Jordi Alba., it was a mistaken identity, he later showed Lionel Messi a red card.   But was it a real red card here?

 And the answer is no he should have shown a yellow card for both the players.

 The referee in his match report he says Lionel Messi was far too aggressive on Asir Villalire , meaning Lionel Messi punched the Atletico Bilbao player.. 

 This is not at all correct here Lionel Messi twice tried to get out of the way,but the Atletico Bilbao player twice tried to block Lionel Messi from running freely. Atletico Bilbao player should have been shown the yellow card for blocking Lionel Messi.

 The video replay clearly shows that Lionel Messi  pushed the Atletico Bilbao player and did not punch him as the sick blind bat of referee said.

 Barcelona lawyers are working on their papers , so let us see will the red card be changed to yellow.

 Or this referee wanted to be the first  referee to show Lionel Messi a red card at Barcelona.
