JUAN LAPORTE HAS NO REGRETS FOR NOT SIGNING CRISTIANO RONALDO.

 Mr Juan Laporte was the president of Barcelona in the year 2003.

 And that year the Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon had offered their 17,seventeen year old youngster Cristiano Ronaldo. Now the agent in the meeting at Barcelona said they were asking 19, nineteen million pounds from Manchester United , but would be willing to sell the youngster to Barcelona for 17,seventeen million pounds.

 But Barcelona rejected the offer because they had bought a striker in the famous Brazilian footballer Ronaldhino. And he was very popular at Barcelona won the La Liga,Copa Del Rey Cups, Champion League and the Ball loon d'Or as wel.

 And another reason was that at that time Lionel Messi was on the horizon of playing his first game for Barcelona in 2005. 
And it was Ronoldhino who taught Lionel Messi tricks skills and kicks, he was a fatherly figure to Lionel Messi.

  So Juan Lapoerte says he has no regrets for not signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
