He has now over taken Cristiano Ronaldo ,with the most free kicks in the Spanish La Liga .
1) Lionel Messi has now scored 48 forty eight free kicks , with 38 in the La Liga and ten in the champion league.
2) Cristiano Ronaldo has 47 forty seven free kicks in the Spanish La Liga, with 37, thirty seven goals scored in the La Liga and ten coming in the champion league.
