ZINEDINE ZIDANE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO PLAY WORLD CUP IN 2006.

 The   2006 world cup finals  played in unified Germany for the very first time. Will always y be remembered at e infamous head butting by Zinedine Zidane on the Italian defender Marco Materessi. during the Extra Added Time.

The goals were scored by Zinedine Zidane and Marco Materessi equaled late into the game.. After Marco Materessi  scored the equalizer , both of them passed each other , and some words were clearly  exchanged between the two footballers.

 Now what was said is not known  but Zinedine Zidane has never ever said what was said between himself and Marco materessi.

 Some say that Marco materessi was asking for Zinedine Zidane's jersey., But Marco Materesi said he would prefer his mother.

 But please note this is only what some people say, here the truth may never be known in the end.

 But what many may not be knowing here is that Zinedine Zidane had retired from international football in 2004, but was coaxed to return back to the French team  and one last world cup hurrah.
