This years Europa League final match which was played between Manchester United and the Spanish club Villarreal ,will be remembered for the way this match ended, and will be talked for sometime now.
The match ended after ninety minutes with a score of 1-1, even after the extra time of 30, thirty minutes the score stood at 1-1, thus leading to penalty shoot out.
There were a total of 22 twenty two penalties in all ,just plain unimaginable I would say, usually they have five penalties only.
But here there were twenty two penalties, in other words every player on the pitch had to take a penalty shot.
Villarreal scored eleven penalties , while Manchester United scored just ten penalties , with their goal keeper David De Gea missing his and the last penalty as well.
Real nail biting ending to a boring match I must say.
It was Villarreal, first ever trophy in their history.
