Brian Hardwood the former Manchester City employee has now gone and revealed that Manchester City almost missed out in buying Sergio Aguero , in the year 2011.
Manchester City under Roberto Mancini had already bought Mario Bolotelli, Eden Dzeko and Carlos Tevez and were at tat time looking very closely at the Argentinean striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, who was at that time playing in Italy, with the club from Naples called Napoli , he adnd the Uruguyan striker Edison Cavani were playing together there.
But Manchester City was also looking at Sergio Aguero at Atletico Madrid.. And as te chairman of Manchester City , was having a very good relation with the Spanish club Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish club said that Sergio Aguero was available at the right sum of money , it was 39, thirty nine million pounds then..
And as they say the rest is history.
