There is no need for Lionel Messi to win a world cup to prove he is te bet footballer ever..
Some footballers have won the world cup without kicking the ball once eve,
1) Ronaldo Nazario 1994 , he never kicked te ball or stepped on the pitch even Romario and Babeto did he scoring then.
2) Lukas Poldoski 2014, never licked the ball or stepped on the pitch for Germany.
3) Olivier Giroud 2018, did not score a single goal, nor had shot on goal nor did he assist.
4) Skhodran Mustafi 2014, he had his contract terminated at Schalke and is with out a club now.
Please remember the world cup is a team effort, but winning six Balloon d'Or , six Golden Boots in Europe. winning a I.F.F.H.S award which stands for International Football Federation of History and statics te play maker of h decade and the player of the decade clearly means Lionel messi s miles and miles better then a world cup winner.
But sadly he Ronaldo fans will not agree here.
