During the EURO CUP 2020, played between England and Croatia , it was a very hot day for footballers from both teams, but U.E.F.A refused the England players any water breaks, during this match.
It might be strange but it is against U.E.F.A rules. The rules are explained below.
According to U.E.F.A.rules there is nothing like a compulsory water break
The rules say that only when the temperature reaches 28 degrees Centigrade or 90 degrees featherweight , can a water break be taken.
That day the temperature stood at 26 degrees so the water break was not allowed..
So at half time the players sprayed water on themselves , used chunks of ice in a towel to cool down. I feel this could be dangerous due the heat due to global warming.
