But footballers have won the world cup without even putting their feet on the pitch.
Ronaldo Nazario won the world cup in 1994 , while on the bench. And so did Lukas Poldoski i 2014 for Germany.
And in 214 a German defender won a world cup named Skhodran Mustafi, he was a failure at Arsenal and in Germany with Schalke he had his contract terminated after getting he club relegated.
I doubt if you all have even heard of him even. But he won a world cup with others doing he hard work on the pitch.
Diego Maradona won a world cup in 1986, but was thrown out of a world cup 1994 for doping . So what is the use of a world cup. and being a cocaine addict.
