Argentina have gone and won their Copa America Cup for the year 2021 They defeated Brazil i the final match.
The score line was 1-0 , and the only Argentinean goal came in the 22 nd minute of the match , scored by Angel Di Maria.
Brazil tried very hard t come back on level terms, but the Argentinean defense held strong , and the young Argentinean goalkeeper Emilia no Martinez did a super job in the goal., with a few brilliant and bold saves.
The last time Argentina won the trophy the Copa America was way back in the year 1993, that is indeed a very long time for a trophy to return back to Argentina .
In that year 1993 Argentina had played Mexico in that final. And Argentina won the Copa America cup with the help of a brace from the then Argentinean striker Gabriel Batistuta. That.game ended 2-0.
It was a very big win game for Lionel Messi , who played on with a hamstring injury . He was determined not to miss this chance to win a international trophy with Argentina.
As the Cristiano Ronaldo fans always said that until Lionel Messi can win a world cup or a Copa America , to say he is better then Cristiano Ronaldo. Now I wonder where on earth will these idiots hide?
