They had gone and made a bid of 40, forty million pounds for he central defender.
Real Madrid have flatly rejected the bid all together.
As Real Madrid are asking for a sum of 60, sixty million pounds for Raphael Varane..
But it kis not yet clear if Manchester United will come back with abetter offer.
