BARCELONA ARE IN A BAD SHAPE NOW,BUT BACK IN 2002 THEY HAD A VERY BAD TIME AS WELL.

Today Barcelona are really having a bad time both on and of te pitch, with financial problems and big  debt as well, now a salary cap which shank from last yarr to only 86 eighty six million pounds.

And playing inside closed doors due to the Corona virus or the Chinese virus, which has brought the world economically to its knees financially people and clubs were suffering

With no gate money or tourists Barcelona face very tough times. The club had to sell their players to bring the wage bill down to what was set for them by Javier Tebas, the president of the Spanish La Liga.

And players refused to take pay uts and some were not willing to leave Barcelona at any cost, one even chose the club he would ony join up with, but as ot a s Antoine Greizmann , who only wanted to join Atletico Madrid, but due to te salary cap they could not  sign him right away, they sold Saul Niguez  to Chelsea and then the deal was done , but then Lionel Messi could not be resigned at tat time ad he joined P.S.G. PLEASE NOTE HERE BARCELONA AND RONALD KOEMAN ARE NOT TO BLAME ,IT IS JAVIER TEBAS. who was the cause of te problem.

Back in the year 2002 Barcelona were doing badly with a aging team and he Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal, got mostly Dutch footballers like Patrick Kluivert, Ronald De Boer, Franck De Boer, , Philip Cocu, and Michael Reizgler.

The Manager Lois Van Gaal  had a fall ot with Rivaldo,as he wanted to play in one position Lois Van Gaal wanted him on the right , but he hose left because he was a left footer  He left Barcelona for A.C.Milan , ten Barcelona lost a South American giant also lie Lionel Messi today.

And the winner that year of the La Liga was Deport a LaCoutina  the Basque club. Real Madrd was not there either

It was a year or so later that Joan Laporta was president of Barcelona, for the first time and Ronaldhino joined Barcelona along with Deco, and Lionel Messi was promoted to the to team from La Masia., Barcelona  never looked back then.

But it was Louis Van Gaal who promoted Andres iniesta and Xavi Hernandez  to the first team, so let us give credit where credit is due.

I am quite sure Barcelona will come back to its glory days once again.
