THE MATCH BETWEEN BENFICA AND BELENENSES IS ABANDONED DUE TO COVID 19.

 Now in the Portugal league the Portuguese giants Benfica were playing  Belenenses , and there was a big problem right from the  start,in fact before the whistle blew even. As the Belenenses team had suffered a serious outbreak  of Covid 19,17, seventeen players  were down with Covid19.

 So there were only nine players on the  pitch,which included two goalkeepers one played as left back, and no player was available to sit on the bench, as they were short of players.

 Things got worse as one player left because of injury.

 Benfica took full advantage  and scored seven goals.

 Now people say they should have taken players from under 23 years.but unfortunately the under 23 were playing the next day as well.

And Belenenses , were afraid to cancel the game in case they got points deducted.

 Butthe refere  finally had to abandon the match.
