IN THE 2012 CALENDAR YEAR WHO HAD MORE SHOTS ON GOAL ,RONALDO OR MESSI.

  In the year 012 we saw a new record for the most goals scored i n a single player in that calendar year.

 In that year Lionel Messi scored 91 goals in all. And  Cristiano Ronaldo scored 63 goals in all.

 But what we must look closely at is the number of shots each of these two had.

 Lionel Messi had a total  of 308  shots on goal..

Cristiano Ronaldo had a total of 438 shots on goal.

 So there was a difference of 130 shots which Cristiano Ronaldo ad compared to Lionel Messi.
