IN THE 2020/2021 SEASON BARCELONA SOLD PLAYERS BUT STILL FINISHED THIRD ON THE TABLE.

 In the 2020/2021 season of the Spanish La Liga  Barcelona  were forced to sell their est players to fall n with the salary cap put in place by the Spanish La Liga , president Javier Tebas.

 And top players like Ivan Rakitic , Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Arthur Melo, Miralem Pajnic . So with out  the cream of footballers Barcelona were left with nothing much was expected.

 Barcelona even sold teenagers Xavi Simon to P.S.G and Illax Moriba to Leipzig.

 Barcelona then had to rim their wage s drastically from 555 five hundred and fifty five million pounds to 130 one hundred and thirty million pounds. A very hard job. 

 And asthe contact of Lionel Messi expired while he was playing Copa America.he La Liga said they would not register Lionel Messi as a player until the salary cap was met. It was ot met. Antoine Greizmann refused to be sold to any club until it was Athletico Madrid  

 But still Barcelona finished the last season third on he table i Spain with players joining from the youth academy. I doubt if any club could do this.
