According to THE SUN, it said that 2009 Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to Barcelona and not to Real Madrid , in the yer 2009,as in the year 2008, he angrily told the press( I am not selling a virus to Real Madrid ,leave alone my best player to Real Madrid.)
But unfortunately Barcelona had got Zalatan Ibrahimovic and Thierry Henry and had Lionel Messi already.
Real Madrid were then told he price for Cristiano Ronaldo, was going to be a huge new world record of 80, eighty million pounds.
Now Real Madrid had gone and purchased Kareem Benzema ,from Lyon , Kaka from A.C.Milan and Xavi Alonso from Liverpool.
So Real Madrid were forced to sell their Dutch pair of stars Arjen Robben to Bayern Munich and Wesley Sneijder to Inter Milan.
